Jay Lowey
Hi, my name is Jay and I’m from County Down. I started dancing when I was 3 with my twin sister but when I was 8 I realised I just wanted to act so my mum enrolled me in a local drama club, The Web Theatre. After a couple of years I enrolled in Belfast School of Performing Arts as I really enjoyed musical theatre as well as acting and I could get all my classes in one place. I had my first filming experience in 2019 and really enjoyed every minute, it was amazing! My mum says I’m great at learning scripts and normally know everyone else’s lines as well as my own. I also love being on stage and after 2 years of being in the ensemble in the Grand opera house youth production I got the role of Dandy Dan in Bugsy Malone.
